Responsible Gambling
Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to make money. If it stops being fun, it is time to stop. This page lists resources for Canadian players who need help, or who want to set limits before problems start.
Warning signs
- Spending more than you planned or can afford
- Chasing losses by betting more to win back what you lost
- Borrowing money to gamble
- Lying about how much time or money you spend gambling
- Feeling anxious, irritable or restless when not gambling
- Neglecting work, family or other responsibilities
- Gambling to escape problems or relieve stress
If any of these apply to you or someone you know, the resources below can help.

Self-exclusion programs
Ontario (iGaming Ontario): If you self-exclude from one iGO-licensed casino, you are excluded from all of them. Minimum period is 6 months. Contact any licensed Ontario casino or visit igamingontario.ca to start the process.
Other provinces: Each province runs its own self-exclusion program through the provincial lottery corporation (OLG in Ontario, BCLC in British Columbia, AGLC in Alberta, etc.). Contact your provincial gaming authority for details.
Individual casinos: Most online casinos let you set deposit limits, loss limits, session time reminders and cooling-off periods directly in your account settings. You do not need to contact support to set these.
Tips for staying in control
- Set a budget before you start and stick to it
- Set a time limit for each session
- Never chase losses
- Do not gamble with money you cannot afford to lose
- Take regular breaks
- Do not gamble when you are stressed, angry or depressed
- Use the deposit limit tools that every licensed casino offers
Age restrictions
Ontario: 19+ for casinos licensed by iGaming Ontario. 18+ for lottery products through OLG. Other provinces: check your provincial gambling age. We do not recommend or condone underage gambling under any circumstances.
